Project 31 GREE

グリーの新オフィスのためのアートプロジェクト。3階から9階に渡って22名のアーティストの作品が空間全体に展開され、グリーのパイオニア精神を体現しています。アーティストのキュレーションや全体ディレクションはTokyoDex。STUDY LLC.では各フロアの柱に設置されるサインをデザインしました。そのフロアのテーマやアーティストプロフィールに加え、階数やマップが表示されています。サイン表示面のレイアウトは全フロア共通でシンプルですが、アートとの関係によって多様な表情を見せています。サインをデザインする段階では、アートがどのように描かれるか想定できなかったのですが、結果的には意外な面白さが生まれました。

An art project for GREE’s new office. 22 artists’ works were installed on 3rd to 9th floors of the office, embodying GREE’s pioneering spirit. TokyoDex curated the artists and provided overall direction. STUDY LLC. designed signs to be placed on the pillars of each floor, displaying the floor number and floor map, in addition to the floor’s theme and artist profile. The material used was transparent acrylic, and holes were drilled in the floor numbers. The layout of the signage is simple and common to all floors, but it shows a variety of expressions depending on the relationship with the artwork. Although it was not possible to envision how the art would be depicted when the sign was designed, the result is unexpected and interesting.
